Artisans of Focus

FocusHouse wasn't built by a company. It was built by someone who sits at a screen all day and needed something that actually worked.

The origin

It started with Spotify playlists. Curating vocal-free electronic music for focus sessions — deep house, progressive, ambient. Playlists that did surprisingly well, because it turns out a lot of people are looking for the same thing: music that helps you concentrate without pulling your attention away.

But playlists have limits. Songs shuffle into the wrong order. Spotify's algorithm injects “recommendations” that break the flow. You lose 10 minutes deciding what to play before you even start working. And there's no way to know if a track is helping people focus or making them leave.

FocusHouse was the answer: a purpose-built radio station where every track is chosen by ear, the flow never breaks, and the data tells us exactly what's working.

The philosophy

We're not an algorithm. We don't generate music with AI. We don't run your brain through a quiz and pretend to know what you need.

We're curators. We listen to every track. We know what 90-110 BPM deep house sounds like when it's 2am and you're in the zone. We know which synth leads break concentration and which ones carry you deeper. This is craft, not technology.

Four channels. Enough variety that nothing crosses over, not so many that you waste time choosing. The music plays 24/7. You just tune in.

Built different

Every track chosen by ear

Not by algorithm, not by AI. Human curation.

Vocal-free by design

Not a filter. The foundational constraint. Lyrics compete with your thoughts.

Data-informed rotation

We track what makes listeners stay and what makes them leave. The catalog evolves.

Independent infrastructure

Self-hosted. No Spotify dependency. No YouTube dependency. We own the platform.

Stay in the zone

New tracks, focus tips, and product updates. No spam.
